Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954) is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has won a number of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also received two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she was awarded the Governor General’s Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress when she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. With John Candy and Dan Aykroyd, she was part the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy began work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
